Course Booking Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to any person or organisation booking a training course for themselves or for someone else on their behalf.

1.0 All prices are subject to change
1.1 We reserve the right to change your booking or cancel your course due to staff/trainer illness or unforeseen circumstances, all fully paid booked learners will be offered to choose from a rescheduled course date or full refund.

2.0 Some of our courses may have different criteria participants must meet for example age restrictions, mobility and physical ability etc.
2.1 Full attendance is required on all courses and late arrivals will not be accepted.
2.2 Full payment must be made to book your space on the course.
2.3 Learners are NOT guaranteed a pass by attending any courses, exams and course criteria must be met and passed for learners to gain the qualification.
2.4 Courses are marked by external bodies and S&G has no responsibility for any person(s) who fail any courses.

3.0 All learners are responsible for imputing their correct personal details for certification purposes and addresses for delivery of documentation etc.
3.1 All learners are responsible for bringing the correct booking proof and documentation and ID for any courses booked.
3.2 S&G Security and Training may retain personal data for a reasonable period of time after any courses.

4.0 Any uncivil behavior on the course or at the premises will not be tolerated and learners will be removed from the course without refund.

Refund and Cancellations Policy: Due to the admin time taken for S&G to organise documents and places on our courses full refunds for cancellations will not be given, we will however offer the following refund or reschedule options if the correct notice is given to us.
All notice periods must be in working days (Mon - Fri) and not including weekends or bank / public holidays.

Notice periods for cancellation:
7 working days before the course begins - 50% refund OR 1 Free reschedule
3 working days before the course begins - 1 Free reschedule
Less than 3 working days before the course begins - NO reschedule or refunds given

SIA Course Documents Required:
All candidates on an SIA course are required to bring along proof of ID with them and passport size photos. Without these candidates will be refused the course and will not be entitled to any refund or reschedule.
Candidates must provide either 2 forms of ID from Group A or one document from Group A and two from Group B. At least one should show the applicant’s current address and at least one document must show the applicant’s date of birth.

01 - Signed valid passport (any nationality)
02 - Signed UK photo driving licence
03 - Signed photocard driving licence and paper counterpart issued by DVA IN Northern Ireland
04 - UK original birth certificate issued within 12 months
05 - UK Biometric residence permit
Group B - Documents that confirm your identity and your address
01 - Valid UK Firearms licence with photo
02 - Signed valid UK paper driving licence
03 - P45 statement of Income for Tax purposes on leaving a job (issued in last 12 months)
04 - P60 Annual statement of Income for Tax purposes (issued in last 12 months)
05 - Bank or Building society statement issued to current address (less than 3 months old)
06 - Mortgage statement (issued in last 12 months)
07 - Utility bill (Gas, Electric, Telephone, Water, Satellite) issued to current address and less than 3 months old. Only one utility bill can be used, Mobile bills are not accepted
08 - Pension, Endowment or ISA statement (issued in last 12 months)
09 - Letter from H.M Revenue and Customs /DWP/Local Authority (less than 3 months old)
10 - Credit card statement issued to current address (less than 3 months old)
11 - Council tax statement (issued in the last 12 months)
Documents that confirm your identity only
12 - Valid EU photo ID card
13 - Driving licence photocard (without a paper counterpart) issued by DVA in Northern Ireland
14 - Marriage certificate or Civil partnership certificate
15 - UK birth certificate issued more than 12 months after date of birth, but not a photocopy
16 - Non UK birth certificate
17 - UK adoption certificate
