Emergency First Aid at Work The course runs for 6 hours over 1 day and will include the following: Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider How to assess an incident Managing an unresponsive casualty Recognising and assisting a casualty who is choking Managing a casualty with external bleeding Managing a casualty who is in shock Managing a casualty with a minor injury And more. The course will be examined with practical assessments throughout the course.
